FAQ

If you have a question you'd like me to answer, please email me or comment on this page!

What does "Defenestrated" mean?

Ah. Wonderful question! Defenestration is the act of throwing something out a window, so if something is defenestrated it means it has been... yep. Thrown out of a window.

Let's use it in a sentence! My brother likes to defenestrate water balloons at me from his bedroom.

Trivia: The word comes from the latin for window, fenestra. French-speakers may recognize it from fenĂȘtre. Or finestra if you're Italian.

What do you use to create your crazy drawings?

I used to draw them with good old-fashioned paper and pencil, ink them in, scan them, and add colour with a program called GIMP. It was a very time-consuming process, as you can see in more detail here.

Now I have a tablet, and it is awesome! I'll be doing all my drawings completely digitally from here on in... or that's the plan at least. I'm still adjusting to using the tablet. =)
